About Keiron Simons

With a background as a counsellor and a lawyer, Keiron Simons has worked as a mediator, trainer and coach for over thirty years.
Mediation
Keiron’s private mediation practice focuses on (re)building ongoing relationships between co-workers, managers and their teams, and members of organizations, communities and families. Issues Keiron mediates range from interpersonal challenges to bullying and harassment (prevention and postvention), team challenges to family-related incidents and long-term dynamics. In addition, Keiron developed and has supported the Family Mediation program for Northern Health and has created and facilitated mediation training programs for the Ministry of Children and Family Development and numerous nongovernmental organizations.Facilitation
As a facilitator, Keiron develops and provides workshops related to effective communication and managing difficult conversations, strengthening teams, respectful workplace and harassment prevention, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution and mediation, etc. He also provides integrated conflict resolution and educational workshop-style group interventions.Coaching
As a coach, Keiron supports administrators, managers and entrepreneurs to develop their effectiveness in areas related to leadership, effective communication, consensus/alliance-building, conflict resolution and collaborative (win-win) problem-solving, emotional and team intelligence, etc. Keiron also provides a coaching program for individuals who have been respondents to or potentially face bullying and harassment complaints and/or other grievances.Selected (non-confidential) Building Bridges clients include:
